Running this blog is a hobby of mine and is unpaid, I hope that you enjoy my articles.  The WebCat,biz is a website for my design cottage industry run by one sole-trader, me, Charles Paxton, henceforth referred to as I or me. I used to reside in Cumbria and I’m very fond of it. Now I live with my wife in Louisiana, which is also a nice place, but with less mountains and sheep and rather more turtles and waterfowl.

Access to this site is permitted on a temporary basis and only on the explicit understanding that you abide by these terms in spirit and deed, and I reserve the right to withdraw or amend the service I provide on this site without notice.  This blog is provided free by WordPress on the understanding that they may run advertisements on these pages. As long as their content is legally acceptable, that seems OK by me. If you don’t like adverts please leave this site. 

Use of this site is voluntary on your part just as its provision is on my part. Privacy and information about visitors.

I only use and store aggregated and depersonalized information about site visitors, and then only in accordance with this site’s privacy policy (see PRIVACY POLICY) and applicable laws. 

I respect rights to privacy. Your privacy rights include the following:

  • You have the right to ask me to disclose any personal data I may hold about you, if any.
  • you have the right to object to the use of any of your data that I may hold,
  • you have the right to limit the extent of your data use by me
  • you have the right to have your data erased upon request

The above actions on my part may require you giving me positive proof of your identity and incur a small processing fee of no more that twenty pounds Stirling as of the time of writing.
